From 23 May 2021, MASI Lugano will host an extraordinary work at Palazzo Reali: the most noteworthy early reproduction of Hieronymus Bosch’s masterpiece, The Garden of Earthly Delights.

The so-called “Nuremberg Copy” presented by MASI, is considered the finest and most important of all the surviving historical copies. Reproducing the central panel of the triptych, the painting has been featured in the most important exhibitions on Bosch, particularly the one held at the Prado, Madrid, in 2000 and the one at the Gemäldegalerie, Berlin, in 2016.
