Angelo Branduardi, the great "minstrel" of Italian song, returns to the LAC with his Il Cammino dell'Anima Tour 2022/23, a concert that reproduces his album of the same name dedicated to St. Hildegard of Bingen, a twelfth century mystic, musician and feminist icon.

From the beginning of his career, Angelo Branduardi, one of the most original artists in the history of Italian music, has crossed over successfully between the worlds of classical and medieval music, skillfully combining Celtic and North European folk sounds. He considers himself to be a modern singer of courtly love with the ability to enrapture audiences, but also getting them to reflect with his soft voice and virtuoso, contemplative singing style.
Talking about his latest album which is also the title of his 2022/2023 tour, Branduardi says: “Music was born with religion, the shaman acted as a mediator between man and God and for Hildegard of Bingen music was the highest form of human activity, that which best reflected the ineffable sound of the celestial spheres.”
In addition to the splendid and visionary suite that makes up Il Cammino dell’Anima, Angelo Branduardi will also perform some of the most famous pieces of his forty year long career in a unique concert that promises to be full of emotions.
