Ten years have passed since Superar Suisse began its activities in Lugano amidst hopes and difficulties, but with one great certainty: music education through choral and orchestral practice – if approached with professionalism, energy and a focus on young people – can only lead to great results.

The year 2025 marks the tenth anniversary of this splendid adventure that has brought hundreds of young people in Ticino closer to music free of charge. Superar Suisse’s tenth concert at the LAC will confirm the work accomplished to date. In keeping with the educational projects being carried out in schools, the concert of the 2024-25 season will not only be Superar Suisse’s event at the LAC but also an excellent opportunity to celebrate this musical journey with the City of Lugano and the entire European Superar network, thus consolidating the perspective for the years to come. More than 200 young people will be present, representing the historic Superar locations in Switzerland (Lugano, Basel and Zurich) and other European countries such as Austria, Croatia, Bosnia, Hungary, Slovakia and Liechtenstein. The first part of the programme will feature a brand new repertoire, while the second part will retrace the great musical moments of the past years.
